Highlights from Our Time at the AGTA GemFair Tucson 2025

We recently returned from the AGTA Tucson Show 2025 which ran from February 3 to 9 at Tucson Convention Center, Arizona, and what an incredible experience it was! As always, Tucson lived up to its reputation as the jewelry and gemstone capital, offering us an unforgettable opportunity to see some of the best in the industry. Here’s a recap of our time there:
Impressive Gemstone Collections
While it was not our first time in Tucson, walking through the show immediately struck us with the variety of gemstones on display—from cultured pearls, paraiba tourmalines to padparadscha sapphires, and anthill garnets—every color was a trend. It was a gemstone lover's dream and attendees showed no distinction. Some opted for fine, rare gems and then there were those who bought and gushed about mixed-colored, too.
Connecting with Industry Leaders
One of the highlights of any show is the chance to connect with people, and this year was no exception. We had the privilege of meeting with several designers, gemologists, and suppliers all eager to share their latest projects, current collections, and insights into the current state of the jewelry world. These conversations were not only informative but also inspiring as we discussed the future of the industry—from design and craftsmanship to the technological transformation that's driving innovation in jewelry marketing, e-commerce, and gemstone photography.
A special highlight was meeting Marena from Jewels by Marena and Angie and Sherry from Yarnal Jewelers who all stopped by our booth to share their amazing experiences with the GemLightbox. It was a pleasure to hear their thoughts not only about the products that we're making but more so about their unique approaches to their craft.
The AGTA GemFair Tucson 2025 is indeed a prime place to network and this year we made some fantastic connections. We met with other industry professionals, exchanged ideas, and learned more about upcoming events and developments. It's always refreshing to be surrounded by so much talent and passion for the craft and the industry, as a whole.
The Unmatched Energy of Tucson
Tucson itself has a special energy, and the show made that energy even more palpable. Whether it was reconnecting with old connections in the industry, discovering incredible new gemstones, or just soaking in the buzzing atmosphere, the entire experience felt electric.
This year even felt more meaningful for us as we unveiled the new GemSparkle. It was truly rewarding to see the reactions from jewelers in person—watching their eyes lit up and hearing their feedback firsthand was an unforgettable moment. It's one thing to work on something behind the scenes but getting to share it with people—the reason we do what we do—makes all the hard work and effort worth it. Moments like this remind us why we love what we do and why we keep pushing boundaries to continuously redefine what's possible.
