The Jewellery World Awards (JWA), formerly JNA Awards, has continued to acknowledge the trailblazers, game changers, and up-and-comers of the industry at the recently concluded 2021 Announcement of Honourees last 26 October. Themed "Leading Through Change and Uncertainty," the announcement, challenged by the ongoing pandemic, was graced by online attendees and live-streamed through the JWA Facebook Page account.
This year's program came in two parts. The Honourees Announcement led the online program followed by the first of a three-session webinar series titled "Series 1: Applying Complementary Strategies to Drive Sales".
Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) sponsored the webinar with Dr. Mark Lee, Research Director at the Asia Pacific Institute for Strategy, as the keynote speaker. He was joined by a group of experts who all shared their thought-provoking insights on navigating the business in the middle of the pandemic. Furthermore, the panelists also explored and discussed the ways to apply complementary strategies in the jewelry industry.
An esteemed panel of judges spent weeks reviewing, deliberating, and assessing entries encompassing 10 countries and regions across five continents. Hosted by Edna Wong, a senior consultant at JWA, the event unveiled 33 shortlisted entries from a high-quality pool of experts.
